My wife Sandra and myself have made three trips from Scotland to new zealand to fish dry fly for your magnificent river trout. During these trips we have identified on both the north and south island, the rivers we prefer and more especially, the best guides.
When we book fishing on the south island now we make a point of booking Steve at the same time because he is such an excellent fish spotter, he is very relaxed and patient and extremely courteous with my wife on difficult river crossings, etc.
